The building we have named Jackson Terminal is a railroad freight depot.  It is located in the Southern Terminal and Warehouse Historic District in Knoxville, Tennessee, adjacent to the Jackson Avenue Warehouse District in the Old City.

The building does not appear on this map dated 1884 but does appear on the 1890 version as the E.T.V. & G.R.R Freight Depot.  (East Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia Railway) Additional ETV & GRR info.

The photo to the right, source unknown, appears to match the feature shown on the 1884 map labeled "R.R.CO'S WARE HO."  This was prior to demolition of the warehouse shown and the construction of Jackson Terminal.
